Happy Holidays! ❤️🎄🌟 Two months ago, we were finally reunited in Montañita, Ecuador. After not seeing each other for 10 months, we are very grateful for every moment and it’s the first time we can spend these holidays together. Have a wonderful festive season and enjoy the time with your loved ones!

Quito was the first place we visited together in E

Quito was the first place we visited together in Ecuador one year ago. Coming from Brazil, it was quite a big change. There are different languages, food, music, landscapes, currency and of course people. We love experiencing new cultures and learning new things from them. I have visited this lovely country several times and Tarik has been living there for a while now.
🇪🇨
So it really breaks our hearts to see what’s happening there at the moment. Apart from demonstrations in major cities, many roads are blocked and public transportation came to a halt. If it continues like that we don’t know how we are going to meet next week when I come to Ecuador. Of course, we hope for the best and that they find a solution that is fair to the indigenous people.

Today, 4 years ago we met each other in Tarik’s

Today, 4 years ago we met each other in Tarik’s home country Morocco! Last year, we were together in Ubatuba, Brazil. And this year, we are unfortunately on different continents. But in one month we should finally see each other again! Since there have been many times when we could only be together emotionally, not physically it’s always nice to look back at memories, like our time in Brazil.

One of the things that made us happy the most was spending our time carefree together, like taking walks on the beach, feeling the warm sun kissing our skins, letting the salty water and soft sand massage our feet, laughing together and just feeling like we have no weight on our shoulders at all. Seeing old pictures makes us appreciate the moments we already spent together and very excited to make new memories together soon!

How can a day not end beautifully with a sunset like this?

Watching the sunset is like meditation for us. Seeing that big fireball peacefully and slowly sinking down the sky, you free your mind from all the thoughts running through your head. In this moment, you start forgetting the troubles that life sometimes can bring and automatically, you will find yourself with a smile on your face.

You probably can tell by now that we love waterfalls!

Even though we are lucky to already have discovered many different waterfalls during our travels, we never get sick of those powerful and massive wonders of nature. Waterfalls are not only a source of life and a home to many different animals and plants but also on a hot day, it is super nice to take a swim or just cool your feet in the refreshing water as we decided to do on this day.

Moments like these make us realize how blessed we are being part of something amazing and stunning like this. Thank you, mother nature, for gifting us with your beauty!

One of the questions I’m asked the most is: How

One of the questions I’m asked the most is: How can you afford all of this travel? Obviously, there is not one right answer to this. There are endless options. Since everyone is different, the best solution might vary. For me, working online makes sense because I can do it from anywhere and just rely on Wifi. Luckily today, Wifi can be found almost everywhere.

Of course, it’s not always easy and glamorous. In fact, I rarely actually work right at the beach. But the big advantage of this lifestyle for me is to be able to enjoy the nice surroundings during my breaks and after work instead of waiting for the next vacation. Even though I sometimes work longer hours than in my office job, I enjoy it more because I love what I do and can have a couple of hours of “vacation” each day.

At the moment, I’m staying with my dad In Switzerland and mostly work in his living room. It’s a beautiful country but I’m also already looking forward to enjoying the beach life again like in Mexico. Being able to travel and work anywhere, while constantly learning new things and improving myself makes this lifestyle so appealing to me.

One of the most fun weeks in Mexico was when my friend @luibeh came to visit me in Holbox. We had a great time exploring the island, eating delicious food and drinks, enjoying stunning sunsets and catching up because we hadn’t seen each other in 1.5 years!

I love yoga and meditation because they help me to live in the present moment and practice gratitude. In nature it’s especially enjoyable. Natural sounds like leaves rustling, birds singing, water falling or flowing, and waves breaking create a peaceful atmosphere.

Every day we receive many messages from all sides. More information is generated in a single day than we can absorb in a lifetime. So to enjoy life to the fullest, we all must find our own breathing space and peace of mind.
